VS GenPass Privacy Policy

1. Data collection and sharing

VS GenPass does not collect, transmit, sell, or provide the developer or external servers with generated or saved passwords, logins, website addresses, notes, biometric information, device identifiers, or usage statistics. The application contains no advertising or analytics SDK.

2. Local storage

Saved records remain on the user's device in system-protected secure storage. There is no cloud synchronization or developer-operated server storage. Android backup and device transfer are disabled for application data.

3. Biometrics

The application may ask Android or iOS to authenticate the user before opening saved records. Authentication is performed by the operating system. VS GenPass does not receive or store fingerprint images, face images, or biometric templates.

4. Clipboard and sharing

Information leaves VS GenPass only after the user explicitly copies or shares it. Clipboard contents are handled by the operating system. Information transferred to another application is then governed by that application's privacy and security practices.

5. Deletion and retention

Saved records can be deleted inside VS GenPass. The developer has no remote copy of this information, so the support team cannot view, restore, or remotely delete local records on the user's behalf.

6. Security

The application uses available platform security mechanisms, but no software can guarantee absolute security. Users are responsible for controlling access to their devices and protecting copied or exported information.

7. Policy changes

This policy may be updated when application functionality or legal requirements change. The current version is identified by the update date shown on this page.
